WNAM REPORT: The Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kheal Das Kohistani met with a delegation of leaders from the minority community. The delegation congratulated the Minister of State Kheal Das Kohistani on his inclusion in the federal cabinet and expressed that the minority community is pleased with Kheal Das Kohistani’s appointment. They thanked Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, noting that this decision will help address the issues faced by the minority community. The meeting involved discussions on various proposals to promote interfaith harmony.
On this occasion, Minister of State Kheal Das Kohistani stated that promoting interfaith harmony is a hallmark of Pakistani society and is among the government’s top priorities. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have always advocated for the rights and protection of minorities, and people of all religions in Pakistan live with freedom and brotherhood. His mission is to resolve the issues of the minority community, and he will utilize every platform to achieve this goal. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has assigned him the task of focusing on the development of minorities and resolving their issues, and he expressed confidence that, through mutual cooperation, all issues will be addressed one by one. The meeting was attended by Pandit Rakesh Chand, Pastor Nawaz Yaqoob, Advocate Sana Gulzar, and Arif James.
