WNAM REPORT: The Hokim of Kagan district, Otabek Kazakov, met with Chinese investors and Zhang Fang Song, Director General of Shanghai Kaida Safety Technology Engineering Co.
The guests were introduced to the conditions of the Bukhara Industrial Development Complex.In Kagan District, projects are being implemented to commission modern industrial facilities based on advanced technologies and to establish the production of finished goods for both domestic and international markets. A project worth $300 million will be launched in the first phase. This initiative will enable the regional economy to create 2,000 jobs and generate products with an annual added value of $250 million. The area of just two production buildings will cover 93,000 square meters. The production of polymer pipes is scheduled to begin as early as the second quarter.
