ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Islamabad’s Inspector General of Police, Ali Nasir Rizvi, emphasized the significance of serving the elderly, orphaned children, and underprivileged individuals during an Iftar dinner hosted by the Clean and Green Islamabad Movement. The event, attended by prominent business leaders and community members, aimed to bring joy and support to senior citizens and children from SOS Village.
Rizvi stressed that caring for the vulnerable segments of society is not only a social responsibility but also a source of spiritual satisfaction. He praised the efforts of the Clean and Green Islamabad Movement, led by Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, in organizing numerous welfare projects.
The police chief assured the audience that Islamabad Police will not only ensure public safety but also play a vital role in the welfare and well-being of the community. He commended Bakhtawari’s dedication to social services, citing his involvement in various charitable initiatives.
Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, in his address, emphasized the need to build a society where no one has to beg for their basic needs. He appreciated Rizvi’s efforts in making Islamabad a peaceful and crime-free city, particularly during Ramadan.
The event concluded with the distribution of gifts among the elderly and children, reaffirming the commitment to care for their needs. The gathering served as a testament to the power of community and the importance of serving the most vulnerable members of society.
