WNAMMONITORING: The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has completed his working visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.
As part of a rich program of high-level events in the city of Khujand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with President Emomali Rahmon and took part in a joint meeting of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
A ceremonial unveiling of the symbolic Friendship Monument took place, along with the signing of the historic Treaty on the Junction Point of the State Borders of the three countries.
The leaders visited the historical and cultural complex, the Khujand Fortress, and attended a joint concert featuring masters of the arts.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, saw off the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the airport.
The President of Uzbekistan departed for the city of Tashkent.
