WNAM MONITORING: On April 1, in Geneva, as part of the UN Human Rights Council, Azerbaijan put forward an initiative and became the main co-author of the draft special resolution aimed at protecting the rights of landmine victims.
Information about the draft resolution was presented within the high-level event on landmines, human rights, and environmental degradation – effective assistance to landmine victims, held as part of the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council.
