Dr Mehmood Ul Hassan Khan

The annual address of president Xi Jining was people and prosperity’s oriented, giving hopes of better and qualitative life in term of good education, generation of new jobs, easy access of health care and medical services. Thus it presented a holistic and comprehensive model of rigorous community development.
President Xi pledges of jointly working for peace, development and international cooperation for mutual benefit is commendable.
His speech showcased the Chinese wisdom and die hard spirits to overcome all internal and external difficulties sailing its macro-economy from the shores of uncertainties to banks of socio-economic prosperity, stability and sustainability during 2023. Thus it remained resilient and dynamic because of its leadership’s determination and economic diversification.
Unfortunately, China confronted with floods, typhoons, earthquakes and natural disasters along with economic hardship but China’s people’s friendly policies successfully mitigated all difficulties.
Xi’s speech was futuristic, fascinating to advance Chinese modernization through persuasion and implementation of the new development philosophy on all fronts, speeding up building the new development paradigm, promote high-quality development, and safeguard security.
It was vivid reflection to protect its national sovereignty, unification and extending support to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to harness their distinctive strengths, better integrate them into China’s overall development, and secure long-term prosperity and stability is appreciable. Thus it demonstrated the true spirits and the glory of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Last but not least, his commitment to work with international community for greater conflict resolution to achieve the optimal levels of the common good of humanity, build a community with a shared future for mankind, and make the world a better place for all covers all aspects of economic globalization, justice world, Global South and quick economic recovery during 2024.
It is crystal clear that through BRI China would be in better position to build a community with a shared future for mankind through diverse, high-quality cooperation.
The China-proposed Global Development Initiative and Global Security Initiative have gained support from over 100 countries, and the Global Civilization Initiative has also been well received which would be catalyst of global cooperation, peace, stability and harmony in the future.
