WNAM MONITORING: Participants of the ongoing 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in the capital have praised the large-scale reforms and transformations taking place in Uzbekistan.
In particular, representatives of the Parliament of Mexico, during a meeting with Nuriddin Ismoilov, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, expressed their deep appreciation for the warm hospitality and gave high marks to the democratic reforms being implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It was emphasized that over the past eight years, Uzbekistan has entered a new stage of development, and the ongoing changes across all sectors are receiving broad support from the international community.
It was noted that the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, currently being held in Tashkent, stands as evidence of the high level of international recognition for the large-scale reforms and democratic transformations being implemented in Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on bilateral cooperation, including prospects for strengthening and expanding ties between the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Mexico.
