WNAM REPORT: On April 10, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the former Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Executive Chairman of the Institute for Global Change, Tony Blair.
The meeting focused on developing practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and this prominent institution.
Tony Blair praised the progress and scale of the reforms being implemented in the building of New Uzbekistan and expressed his readiness to provide the necessary expert and advisory support in further advancing these reforms. Other key areas of cooperation identified include initiatives aimed at attracting major strategic investors to various sectors of the economy, technological modernization, accelerating digitalization, and the introduction of artificial intelligence, as well as the implementation of joint programs and projects in priority areas.It is worth noting that the Institute, established by former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair in 2016, is an international non-profit organization. It assists various countries in developing new sustainable and innovative growth models, addressing climate change, and responding to contemporary global challenges.
