ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): People do not need to go far to get postal facilities. Pakistan Post has started mobile service in view of the road closures and obstacles due to the construction of Mall Road Underpass and other development works. Chief Postmaster Asma Noreen, while inaugurating the mobile service on the instructions of DG Post Samiullah Khan, said that this service has been started on the demand of the public, especially the business community, so that the postal services required by the public from different areas can be provided uninterruptedly in the nearest areas. She said that urgent mail service, cash on delivery, registry and parcel booking facilities will be provided at the mobile counter. It will initially be available at points at Chohar Chowk, Chungi No. 22, Liaquat Bagh, PC Hotel from 9 am to 4 pm during specific hours and these services will be further increased in view of the needs of the customers.
