Successive int’l positions rejecting, displacement of Palestinians are praiseworthy: Palestinian Foreign Ministry

WNAM report: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomes the successive international positions that condemn and reject the statements and calls of the extremist Ministers Smotrich and Ben Gvir calling for the displacement of our people from the Gaza Strip, the most recent of which was the position issued by the German Foreign Ministry rejecting the displacement of our people and reducing the area of ​​the Gaza Strip and stressing the importance of adhering to the two-state solution, as well as condemning European Union foreign policy official Josep Borrell described these statements and positions as irresponsible, as well as what was issued by the British Foreign Office, rejecting the displacement of our people and emphasizing that the Gaza Strip is occupied Palestinian territory and will remain part of the State of Palestine.
While the Ministry welcomes these positions, it demands that they be translated into practical actions and measures that pressure the occupying state to ensure the cessation of aggression and displacement plans, especially since the plans to displace our people are present on the agenda of the extreme right-wing Israeli government, whether from the Gaza Strip or the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem or the Palestinians inside. Under false pretexts and arguments, and based on the racist Nationality Law, they deepened the crimes of forced displacement in the Gaza Strip to include the displacement of more than 2 million Palestinians, most of whom have become concentrated in the regions of the south, which have become the highest population density in the world at all, and cramming them into a very narrow space, in light of the continued Targeting the displaced and this population density with bombing and destruction in an attempt to force them to stampede en masse towards the border, as well as depriving the occupation forces of the residents of the northern Gaza Strip areas from returning to their homes and areas in flagrant violation of international law, and the pillars of the ruling Israeli right continue to launch a widespread campaign of incitement against UNRWA in an attempt to complete Attacking and sabotaging its role, preventing it from performing its duties, and completely stopping its work in the Gaza Strip after Israel’s continuous targeting of its headquarters, schools, cadres, and capabilities.
