WNAM MONITORING: The energy sector is a key branch of the economy, playing a vital role in ensuring the country’s sustainable development. It encompasses energy generation and its efficient distribution, storage, and consumption.

The ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan’s energy sector, increased investment, the introduction of modern technologies, and the development of renewable energy sources contribute to the nation’s energy security. At the same time, innovative technologies aim to reduce the environmental impact of energy production and consumption.

As noted by Maria Ryabova, Project Director at Iteca Exhibitions, renewable energy sources, particularly solar and wind, play a crucial role in preserving natural resources and combating global climate change.

– Implementing such projects in Uzbekistan will help improve the efficiency of the energy sector and create new jobs, – said Maria Ryabova. – In turn, strengthening international cooperation and establishing platforms for dialogue will allow us to expand activities in this area.

One such platform will be the 18th International Exhibition “Energy, Energy Efficiency, Nuclear Energy, and Alternative Energy Sources – Power Uzbekistan 2025”, which will take place from May 13 to 15 this year at the CAEx Uzbekistan International Exhibition Center in Tashkent. The event is organized by Iteca Exhibitions and ICA Eurasia Group.

It is worth noting that the exhibition stands out for its timely and relevant focus, covering topics such as nuclear energy, renewable energy sources, and energy-saving technologies. Reforms being implemented in these areas, along with major projects involving foreign investment and the adoption of new technologies, are contributing to the transformation of Uzbekistan into a regional energy exporter.

Companies and specialists participating in the event will share their experience and discuss innovative solutions in the energy sector. The exhibition will showcase modern equipment in power and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, nuclear energy, renewable and alternative energy sources, and generators and cable-conductor products. A total of 420 enterprises from 32 countries will present their capabilities.

Power Uzbekistan 2025 offers not only an opportunity to explore unique technologies, but also to define future steps for advancing international cooperation and establishing new business partnerships.
