ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): On the invitation of UBG (FPCCI) Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari, the business community of Islamabad held a thanksgiving gathering and cut a victory cake. On this occasion, presidents and heads of various trader organizations of Islamabad also participated and expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces and Army Chief General Asim Munir.

They said that General Asim Munir raised the nation’s head with pride and united the people. Among the notable attendees were ICCI Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, G-11 Markaz President Naeem Akhtar Awan, D-12 Markaz President Zargham Shah, E-11 President Iftikhar Abbasi, General Secretary of the Traders Action Committee Khalid Chaudhry, I-8 President Waheed Cheema, F-10 Group Leader Tahir Abbasi, Blue Area Group Leader Yousaf Rajput, INT Center G-10 President Zafar Iqbal Gujar, G-7 Markaz President Altaf Hussain Shah, Steel Market President Irfan Chaudhry, General Secretary of Aabpara Market Akhtar Hussain Abbasi, President of Jamiat-ul-Quraish Khurshid Qureshi, ICCI Executive Member Roohail Anwar Butt, and former ICCI President Nisar Mirza.

Speaking on the occasion, Zafar Bakhtawari said that the Pakistan Army thwarted the evil intentions and malicious designs of the enemy. “We salute and pay tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces. We also salute the courage and bravery of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, who made the entire nation proud. The divisions within the nation have ended, and now the country stands united. While the leadership played its role in this victory, special tribute must be paid to the heads of the armed forces, particularly Army Chief General Asim Munir.”

He added, “We will also not forget Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and will show the world that the Pakistani nation remembers and honors its benefactors.”

Other speakers also addressed the audience and congratulated the “Shaheens” (falcons) for humiliating India’s arrogance.
