ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Mian Akram Farid, UBG Core Committee member, former President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI), and former Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), congratulated the United Business Group (UBG) and its leadership on the successful amendment of the Trade Organization Act 2013.
Mian Akram Farid specifically lauded the instrumental role played by Mr. S.M. Tanveer, stating, “Mr. Tanveer’s unwavering dedication and relentless efforts were absolutely critical in bringing this vital matter to the forefront at every level of government. His tireless pursuit has now culminated in the successful passage of this amendment through the National Assembly, a truly significant achievement for the entire Pakistan business community.”
Mian Akram Farid also acknowledged the valuable contributions of Dr. Ikhtiar Baig for his dedicated advocacy for the business community within the National Assembly.
