WNAM REPORT: Dubai witnessed a landmark innovation in its healthcare sector on May 2025 with the official launch of the emirate’s first-ever commercial mobile dental clinic. Spearheaded by 800TEETH, a division of Malabar Dental Clinic LLC, the initiative is designed to bring high-quality dental care directly to schools, offices, hotels, and residential communities across the city.
The ribbon-cutting and ceremonial flag-off took place at The Indian High School, Oud Metha, and was officiated by Mr. Punit MK Vasu, CEO of The Indian High Group of Schools. In his address, Mr. Vasu emphasized the importance of proactive health initiatives and praised 800TEETH for its student-focused and community-driven approach. “We are proud to support such a forward-thinking project that brings essential care to where it’s needed most,” he stated.
According to Al Mudassar News Agency, the mobile dental unit is outfitted with advanced dental technology, offering treatments and screenings with the same clinical standards found in traditional dental offices. The initiative focuses on preventive care, convenience, and affordability, redefining how and where dental services are accessed.
Dr. M.A. Babu, Director of 800TEETH Mobile Dental Clinic and CEO of Malabar Dental Clinic, elaborated on the vision: “We aim to deliver care where people are — at their workplaces, their children’s schools, or even their hotel stays. Accessibility is the future of healthcare, and this mobile unit brings that future to life.”
Chairman Mr. Luai Sameer Aldahlan, also a board member of the Al Dahlan Group, highlighted the long-term vision to expand across the GCC region. “This is just the beginning,” he said. “We are building a model of mobile healthcare that combines technology, efficiency, and human touch to transform how dental care is delivered across the Middle East.”
The launch event also featured a warm exchange of appreciation between 800TEETH and The Indian High School, reinforcing the role of educational institutions in promoting community wellness.
With this pioneering step, Dubai continues its momentum in embracing innovation that prioritizes access, inclusivity, and proactive healthcare delivery — setting an example for the region and beyond.
