President of Finland concludes his official visit to Uzbekistan

WNAM REPORT: The President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb has concluded his official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan and departed for his home country this morning. The Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjayev and other officials saw off the distinguished guest.

The visit program included high-level talks, meetings, a roundtable discussion, and visits to several institutions in the country.In particular, high-level negotiations were held in Tashkent, during which current issues related to expanding multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland were discussed, primarily in the political, trade and economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Special attention was given to increasing the volume of mutual trade and establishing cooperation in areas such as agriculture, ecology, chemistry, energy, digitalization, mining, and other innovative sectors. Issues of cooperation in labor migration, culture, and the introduction of advanced technologies in the education system were also discussed.This visit not only strengthened cooperation but also demonstrated a spirit of friendship. According to Alexander Stubb, Uzbekistan is confidently moving forward thanks to modern reforms.
