WNAM MONITORING: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the large-scale development work underway in the administrative center of Kukdala district, Kashkadarya region.

This district was established three years ago at the initiative of the Head of State to organize urbanization and create favorable living conditions for the population. Since then, the development of the area has accelerated significantly. Today, a new city is effectively taking shape near the village of Yettitom.

First and foremost, the necessary infrastructure was created: 120 kilometers of water supply lines and 210 kilometers of power lines have been laid. Road expansion and repair work have been carried out. Administrative buildings have been constructed, along with 19 schools, 22 kindergartens, a multidisciplinary hospital, and a family health clinic.

The new hokimiyat building deserves special attention, as it marks the beginning of a new practice in the country: it houses 38 government agencies under one roof, providing convenience for citizens. Previously, residents had to travel long distances to access administrative services in Chirakchi district. Now, all essential public services are available locally.

The President emphasized that the conditions being created in Kukdala and the comprehensive approach to construction serve as a model for all districts nationwide.

In particular, the hokimiyat building also hosts the “Inson” Center, where social services and assistance are provided in a single location. The center’s software is integrated with the databases of 55 relevant organizations. The systems for servicing children, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and assigning social benefits are interconnected.

The Head of State also visited the Yettitom Small Industrial Zone in the district center.

Covering four hectares, the zone hosts nine small-scale enterprises in the textile, food, and construction industries, producing household goods, with a total investment of $10 million. For example, the Komfort Star New manufactures heating boilers and metal products, while Komfort Industrial Aria has launched the production of ceramic tableware. The industrial zone is expected to create more than 600 permanent jobs.

The President also visited the new Palace of Arts, recently constructed in the district center.

The building includes an auditorium with a seating capacity of 255 and numerous rooms for creative clubs and activities. The Palace has modern musical instruments, a recording studio, a sound amplification system, and high-quality heating and cooling systems.

The President specifically noted the convenient location of the Palace next to an art school, a general education institution, and a sports complex, and instructed that this integrated approach be taken into account in the development of future projects.

The Head of State watched the creative performances of young artists with great interest.

“Looking at you, I am once again convinced that the land of Amir Temur is rich in talent. If you do not lose your thirst for knowledge and remain persistent, you will become the foundation of Uzbekistan’s greatness”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in his address to the youth.

In the district center, children’s playgrounds, green areas, and commercial and service centers are being constructed in accordance with a unified development plan. Over 200 facilities have been built, and the local population highly values the convenience and improvements.

The construction of social infrastructure, libraries, sports grounds, and cultural centers is ongoing.

Thereupon, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev concluded his visit to Kashkadarya region.
