Kashkadarya region enters a new phase of development

WNAM REPORT: During independence, Kashkadarya region experienced significant changes. Known for its rich natural resources, historic significance, and abundant labor force, the area has seen major development in industry, agriculture, entrepreneurship, tourism, and the social sector.

Kashkadarya region is vital to the country’s industrial development. It hosts major enterprises in oil, gas, chemical, and energy sectors, and is also home to new production facilities and investment initiatives. Ongoing efforts include modernizing manufacturing, enhancing local raw materials through deep processing, producing competitive goods, and expanding export capabilities.

Entrepreneurship and the service sector are expanding quickly. Launching promising projects in mahallas, along with supporting small businesses and private initiatives, helps create jobs and boost citizens’ incomes.

The region merges its rich agricultural traditions with modern technologies. It is adopting advanced methods for growing cotton and grains, developing horticulture, vegetable farming, and animal husbandry, while also optimizing land and water use. Implementing water-saving technologies, developing intensive orchards, and expanding processing facilities enable the production of higher value-added products.

Special focus is given to the social sector and ensuring comfortable living conditions. New modern schools, medical clinics, sports complexes, and cultural centers are being constructed, along with landscaping for mahallas.

Tourist infrastructure is expanding, and new routes are being established in the region.

Landscaping efforts are transforming the look of cities and villages. New residential complexes, social facilities, industrial structures, and infrastructure projects are driving regional growth.
