ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moqadam held an emergency press conference at the National Press Club Islamabad to strongly condemn the recent attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The Ambassador emphasized that these attacks are a clear violation of international law and an attempt to spread war throughout the region.
Ambassador Moqadam highlighted that Iran’s nuclear program has been declared peaceful by the IAEA for fifteen times, and the country’s stance against the genocidal regime in Palestine and Gaza is the real reason behind these attacks. He further stated that Iran will respond to the US in accordance with the UN Charter and target American interests around the world.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude to Pakistan for extending support to Iran at every forum and emphasized that Iran has the full support of the Muslim world, including Pakistan. He also mentioned that Iran is ready to fight this war for a long time with the guidance of its leadership and the help of its forces.
When asked about the meeting between Field Marshal General Asim Munir and Donald Trump, the Ambassador avoided commenting on bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Ambassador concluded by stating that Iran will continue its peaceful nuclear program and has not requested the supply of weapons from any country, although Russia has fully supported Iran in all meetings and is expected to continue this support in the future.
