Though the top leadership of both the PPP and PML are trying hard to play down the cracks in the edifice of their coalition government by their efforts to paper them over. Many insiders believe that their marriage of convenience for remaining in the corridors of power is in the doldrums and might end in divorce soon if Zardari and Nawaz Sharif do not intervene to set their house in order.
The Speaker of the Panjab Assembly deserves hosannas for coming down with a heavy hand on those MPAs who had recently indulged in hooliganism on the floor of the House in the Panjab Assembly and used fisticuffs against one another. Isn’t it a pity that instead of appreciating this strong disciplinary action of the Speaker some political circles are making a heavy weather of it. There is no gainsaying the fact that the track record of our Assemblies isn’t much satisfactory, insofar, keeping decorum on the floor of the House is concerned. More often than not they use unparliamentary language against one another and even tear clothes of one another in a fit of rage. Isn’t a fact that the skull of deputy speaker of the then East Pakistan Assembly was broken as a result of one such scuffle which prompted former President of Pakistan Ayub Khan to remark that parliamentary democracy doesn’t suit the genius of the people of this country.

Elon Musk who till recently was alter ego of Trump is most probably going to contest next Presidential election of America against him as he has launched his new political party. He might give a tough time to both Presidential candidates of the Republicans and the Democrats as he is an ambitious guy who wants to sit in the Oval office of the White House. He knows the psyche of American voter and he has made the big time in the corporate world as he knows its ins and outs also like the palm of his hand.
