Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Iran reaffirm the vital role of diplomacy in advancing regional peace, stability, and sustainable development

WNAM REPORT: In Tianjin, China, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Seyyed Abbas Araghchi.

“Met with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Seyed Abbas Araghchi”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote on his Telegram channel. “We exchanged views on deepening the historically rich and multidimensional ties between Uzbekistan and Iran, rooted in centuries of shared history, culture, and economic cooperation.

Highlighted the growing trade between our countries and explored ways to expand cooperation. There is significant untapped potential to further expand our partnership across key areas of mutual interest.
