ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Rohail Anwar Butt, Executive Member of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), highlighted the cordial relations between Pakistan and Rwanda, emphasizing the immense potential for foreign investments in both countries due to their congenial and business-friendly policies.
Butt made these remarks during a meeting with H.E. Harerimana Fatou, the Rwandan High Commissioner to Islamabad, at the Embassy. He was accompanied by another Executive Member of ICCI, Mohammad Waseem Chaudhry. Ezra Kwibuka Head of Finance at the Embassy was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, Butt and Chaudhry showcased investment opportunities in multiple sectors in Pakistan, expressing confidence that the Rwandan Embassy would play a pivotal role in projecting these avenues to the business community in Rwanda. The High Commissioner discussed incentives offered by the Rwandan government to foreign investors and mentioned the upcoming International Trade Fair in Kigali, scheduled to commence on July 29.
Rohail Anwar Butt expressed interest in establishing an outlet of the renowned “Shakarpuri Sweets” chain in Kigali to strengthen business ties between the two countries. Mohammad Waseem Chaudhry also expressed optimism that these meetings would bear fruit in fostering relations between Pakistan and Rwanda.
