ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): The Pakistan Alternative Energy Association (PAEA) organized a landmark event to bring together all major associations and stakeholders of Pakistan’s solar industry under the theme “One Roof, One Vision.” The gathering was attended by ICCI Vice President Muhammad Irfan, along with representatives of almost all leading solar industry associations, including REAP, PSA, and SETUP, as well as prominent traders, importers, EPC companies, retailers, and other key stakeholders from Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The primary objective of the initiative was to develop a unified strategy for addressing the challenges facing the solar industry, promoting renewable energy, and strengthening coordination with government institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, PAEA Chairman Asif Javed said that enhanced cooperation among industry associations, the exchange of information, and a coordinated approach would not only strengthen Pakistan’s solar industry but also pave the way for increased investment, local manufacturing, and the adoption of advanced technologies.
He emphasized that all stakeholders must work together in the national interest to promote clean, affordable, and sustainable energy in Pakistan, adding that unity within the industry is essential for achieving long-term growth and ensuring a prosperous energy future for the country.
