KUALA LUMPUR: Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Salah Al-Budair was recently received by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at the World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
Ibrahim expressed his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s efforts in “promoting the values of moderation and tolerance,” the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
Al-Budair affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in Islamic advocacy.
The visit is part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance’s efforts to serve Muslim communities around the world.
