WNAM REPORT: A solemn meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to commemorate the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence.
Opening the event, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bahromjon Aloyev noted the key aspects of the speech of the President of Uzbekistan delivered at the main festive ceremony. He emphasized that independence is a sacred value of great importance to the people, and also highlighted the success achieved in various fields over recent years.
Special attention was paid to large-scale reforms and the main directions of foreign policy conducted under the leadership of the Head of State.
According to Mr. Aloyev, Uzbekistan’s open, friendly, and pragmatic approach serves as a solid foundation for the country’s sustainable development and the strengthening of its international position.Within the framework of the event, for the first time, the badges “Devoted to Diplomatic Service” and “Excellence in Diplomatic Service” were awarded. These honors were presented to employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication to their mission, and made a significant contribution to the ministry’s work.The diplomats emphasized that Independence Day is a deeply cherished holiday for the people, symbolizing creation and progress. According to them, strengthening the country’s international authority and promoting reforms will remain the priority tasks of the diplomatic service.
