WNAM REPORT: As part of the country’s major tech week, the ICT Week Uzbekistan 2025 Investment Forum served as an essential platform for discussing the current state and prospects of the sector.
The event brought together government officials, financial institutions, technology leaders, and international investors to discuss prospects and opportunities for IT investments in Uzbekistan.
A presentation was held on the country’s investment potential in the IT sphere. The advantages of investing in innovative startups, IT Park residents, software developers, and technology projects were highlighted.
Discussions also focused on state-provided incentives, support mechanisms, and plans to transform Uzbekistan into a regional IT hub by expanding digital service exports.
An important theme was the development of cooperation with international companies, financial institutions, and local entrepreneurs. Participants explored opportunities for establishing joint ventures, engaging with multinational corporations, and implementing new programs in partnership with international financial institutions.The forum also emphasized the need to enhance sustainable digital infrastructure and green technologies. Discussions included creating environmental information centers, expanding the use of renewable energy sources, and introducing infrastructure solutions with high energy efficiency. Opening new markets through innovation and collaboration was identified as a key area of focus. Particular attention was given to the potential of the local startup ecosystem, mechanisms for bringing innovative products and services to foreign markets, implementing joint projects, and developing new segments of the digital economy.
