WNAM Monitoring: There are 157 enterprises in Fergana region operating with the participation of the capital of the People’s Republic of China. The scale of cooperation is expanding. New projects are being developed in various areas.
Last year, $537.6 million of foreign investments were disbursed through implementing projects in cooperation with China, of which $318.5 million were direct investments.
In Uchkuprik district, with the participation of Chinese investors, the activities of 10 enterprises in various fields have been established, one of them is Andelai LLC, in which 13.1 billion UZS have been invested.
The enterprise, launched in 2020, produces 50 types of shirts for men and children and employs 200 women. In 2023, it produced more than 40 thousand pieces of high-quality, competitive products and exported them to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
In 2024-2026, it is planned to implement 31 projects with Chinese investors. This year, the implementation of projects worth $322 million will begin.
A delegation from China in Fergana region is concluding mutually beneficial agreements with partners.
