A Public Nuisance

Time was when the political parties used to hold public meetings late at central places in the cities in the night as they realised that assembling people at day time will result in traffic jams creating public nuisance. In Peshawar it was Chowk Yadgar and Chowk Fawara ,in Pindi Liaqat Bagh, in Lahore Minto Park, in Multan it was Nisthar Park so on and so forth. They used to vent their spleen in their speeches in these public meetings on issues which they want to apprise the government. This procedure didn’t create any public nuisance on the roads and whatever the protesters wanted to bring to the notice of powers that be was conveyed to them quite effectively.

The recent killing of 28 terrorists in Bannu and Bajuar the other day wax eloquent of the fact that our enemies are still busy in their nefarious designs to destabilise Pakistan.
