Climatic Change Needs Super Powers’Attention

Climatic change is perhaps the biggest problem which the humanity is confronted with today. Sea level is rising by the day all around the world and the cities located on the banks of seas might face extinction. Should that happen the humanity might face a big problem of mass exodus of people the like of which will not have been seen by the world before. Likwise, the cities lying near rivers will also risk inundation with water forcing their inhabitants to vacate their home and hearth. The change in weather cycle will affect the sowing crop pattern of both Rabi and Kharif thus affecting agricultural produce which in turn can cause famine in many areas of the globe on a large scale.
One thing is certain that many third world countries including Pakistan won’t be able to cope with it single handedly.  Financial support of super powers would be sine qua non for tiding over this crises which is possible only if the UN makes the super powers rise to the occasion and help assist the third world countries on a big scale financially. Hitherto no serious step in this connection has been taken by them which is unfortunate to say the least. Needless to say they have a big hand in the creation of climatic change in the world.

POST SCRIPT:
– The gap between a handful of filthy rich and teeming millions of poor in the world is widening by the day instead of decreasing.  Millions of people in the world are still living below poverty line and they are deprived of basic human needs like medicare and education. Teeming millions don’t know where there next meal  would come from.  They are victims of malnutrition and prone to deadly diseases.

– The admission of Taliban government that more than half of the weaponry left behind by the Americans in Afghanistan is missing from the stock gives credence to the suspicion that it might have fallen into the hands of terrorist groups who have been using it for subversive activities in Pakistan.
