RIYADH ( WNAM MONITORING): Saudi aid agency KSrelief continues to make an impact by delivering critical assistance to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
In Yemen, the KSrelief-supported emergency epidemic disease control center in Hayran district, Hajjah governorate, served 1,587 beneficiaries in one week, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
Services included pediatric and internal medicine clinics, an infectious disease control clinic, laboratory testing, pharmaceutical services, and observation ward care.
In Lebanon’s Beqaa governorate, KSrelief distributed 3,198 food baskets and cartons of dates to Syrian and Palestinian refugees and host communities, benefiting 7,995 people.
In Afghanistan, the agency distributed food baskets in Farkhar district, Takhar province, aiding 2,424 individuals from 404 families, including returnees, internally displaced persons, the needy, and orphans.
In Chad, KSrelief distributed 900 food baskets in Bahr el Ghazal state, reaching 5,400 vulnerable people. In Sudan, 2,300 food baskets were given to families in North Kordofan state, benefiting 2,300 households.
Since 2015, KSrelief has implemented 4,006 projects in 109 countries, spending over $8.27 billion on food security, health, education, water and sanitation, shelter, and early recovery.
