Time was when among the armed forces military that is land forces used to occupy the key position among the various components of a country’s army. Then came a period when navy catapulted to number one position. The popular slogan of British Army was Brittania rules the waves. Now Air force has occupied that coveted position in the hierarchy of armed forces. The first two Air Chiefs of the PAF Asghar Khan and Nur Khan deserve accolades for laying a firm foundation for raising the PAF whose hallmark has been merit and merit alone in its every department.
The very fact that many countries are today placing orders for buying fighter planes manufactured by PAF wax eloquent of the high quality planes being manufactured by the aeronautical engineers of the PAF.

His plea that during his stint in office China wont attack Taiwan is not understandable. Why should it? Beijing considers Taiwan to be its part and parcel so why should it invade it. On the contrary it is America which is instigating Taipei to raise a rebellion against Beijing.
