Islamabad ( WNAM REPORT): President Tourism for Interfaith Harmony and Development and President Lakeshore Club, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, while strongly condemning the Gul Plaza tragedy, stated that the incident is the result of government negligence, poor planning, and lack of oversight by the concerned authorities. As a consequence, precious human lives were lost and the business community suffered financial losses worth billions of rupees.
He demanded that a transparent and impartial investigation be conducted into the incident and that strict legal action be taken against those responsible. He further emphasized that an immediate relief package should be announced for the affected traders and business establishments, practical assistance should be provided for the restoration of their businesses, and strict measures must be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
Syed Sadat Hussain Shah also stressed that the government must ensure the protection of the business community and restore an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
