WNAM REPORT: Former FPCCI President Zubair Ahmed Malik stated that if honesty is made a principle in business, success naturally follows, and serving humanity is the greatest virtue. He expressed these views while addressing the ceremony at Jinnah Super Market, F-7 Markaz, after inaugurating a water filtration plant donated by Chairman Clean & Green Islamabad Movement, Ahsan Bakhtawari, as the chief guest.
Zubair Ahmed Malik described Ahsan Bakhtawari’s tenure as FPCCI President as a golden period, noting that he possesses the ability to turn differences into consensus. He added that Zafar Bakhtawari approaches even adversaries with goodwill and believes in resolving matters through dialogue and understanding.
Chairman Clean & Green Islamabad Movement, Ahsan Bakhtawari, stated that the movement is making every possible effort to provide safe drinking water, protect the environment, and improve urban facilities in the city. He emphasized that the business community must become self-reliant and not rely on CDA or other institutions for every matter.
Ahsan Bakhtawari also paid high tribute to Zubair Ahmed Malik for his services to the business community and the nation, suggesting that the plant be named after him, a proposal that received unanimous support from all attendees.
United Business Group Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari remarked that having Zubair Ahmed Malik inaugurate the water filtration plant donated by Ahsan Bakhtawari was a great honor. He also expressed the wish that the plant be named after Malik, acknowledging his continuous efforts in uniting the business community and guiding it positively.
President Jinnah Super Market, Asad Aziz, praised the Clean & Green Islamabad Movement and Ahsan Bakhtawari’s efforts, highlighting that providing clean drinking water was a basic necessity, which the movement has successfully addressed.
General Secretary Abdul Rehman Siddiqui stated that under Ahsan Bakhtawari’s leadership, the Clean & Green Islamabad Movement is taking effective and impactful measures to make the city clean, green, and healthy.
Former Minister of Azad Kashmir, Raja Yaseen and other speakers also addressed the ceremony, describing the establishment of the water filtration plant as a historic and exemplary initiative for public welfare and lauding the services of the Clean & Green Islamabad Movement.
The ceremony was attended by former ICCI President Khalid Iqbal Malik, President Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries Owais Satti, President Blue Area Yusuf Rajput, President Super Market Shehzad Shabbir Abbasi, President E-11 Zahid Abbasi, Fasihullah Khan, Rana Qaiser, Ishaq Siyal, and others.
