WNAM REPORT: Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Akkulov held a series of negotiations with representatives of leading global tourism companies as part of international tourism events in Berlin.
In particular, a meeting was held with Andrew van der Feltz, Senior Director of Business Development for Expedia Group Media Solutions, one of the world’s largest online travel platforms. During the negotiations, the parties discussed expanding the promotion of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in international markets, including showcasing the country’s historical cities, rich cultural heritage, and modern tourism infrastructure to a global audience.
The parties also exchanged views on promoting national tourism products through international online booking platforms using the company’s modern marketing tools and analytical capabilities.
