What is it if not war frenzy that India has earmarked a gigantic amount in its new budget for buying the latest weaponry. Obviously it cannot even think of using it against China as in the last border skirmishes the Chinese had beaten the hell out of them. It will be used by it against Pakistan and its other smaller neighboring countries. The possibility that this decision will touch off arms race in this part of the world cannot be ruled out altogether as Pakistan too will have to modernize its military strength by equipping it with the state of the art weaponry.
POST SCRIPT
Pak-China friendship is a sore in the eyes of India. New Delhi will try to create a rift in it and it might try to put into trouble hundreds of Chinese nationals working in Pakistan in various developmental projects. It is, therefore of paramount importance that adequate fool proof security be provided to them and a special protection unit of police be given the task to ensure that nobody harms them.
-The Taliban, it seems, are not amenable to reason and they have been committing acts which have pushed Afghanistan to political wilderness in the world. Germany was one such country which nursed soft corner for it but it too is now shutting its doors to the Afghan nationals because of terrorist activities of the Taliban.
