OPF and NADRA Join Hands to Facilitate Overseas Pakistanis

WNAM REPORT: A meeting between Syed Qamar Raza, Chairman, Board of Governors, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), and Lt. Gen. Munir Afsar, Chairman, NADRA, was held at the OPF Head Office in Islamabad. Mr. Mohammed Afzaal Bhatti, Managing Director, OPF, along with senior officers from both NADRA and OPF were also present.

During the meeting, matters relating to the facilitation of overseas Pakistanis by NADRA were discussed in detail, with particular emphasis on enhancing service delivery and ensuring the swift issuance of NADRA-related documents.

The Chairman, BoG, OPF, apprised the participants of various issues highlighted by the Pakistani community during his recent visits to Japan and Korea. He specifically requested the establishment of a NADRA facilitation desk at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo, noting that the absence of such a facility is causing considerable difficulties for the Pakistani community residing there.

The Chairman, NADRA, assured that the proposal would be considered on a priority basis.

Syed Qamar Raza expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Chairman, NADRA, for visiting OPF and for consistently prioritizing the concerns of overseas Pakistanis. Both sides agreed to work collaboratively to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of issues faced by the overseas Pakistani community.
