ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Chairman Tourism for Interfaith Peace and Tourism, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, has welcomed the two-week ceasefire between Iran, the United States, and Israel, achieved through Pakistan’s efforts. He stated that Pakistan’s strong role in this positive development is highly commendable.

He said that the tireless efforts, dedication, and diplomacy of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar have led to a ceasefire in the rapidly escalating and dangerous conflict in the Middle East. He added that it is a great honor that negotiations for a permanent ceasefire are now set to begin in Pakistan.

He further stated that Pakistan also played the role of a trusted channel for a 10-point peace plan between the United States and Iran.

Now that the guns have fallen silent, he appealed that dialogue—not drones—should define our future. Tourism, interfaith harmony, and trade can only flourish in an environment of peace.
