Lahore:(WNAM Report) At the invitation of the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Lahore, Rao Khalid Mustafa Khan, the Ambassador took part in a business dinner with the Governor of Punjab Province, Mr. Muhammad Balighur Rehman and the business community of the region.
During the dinner, H.E. Mr. Y.Kistafin informed the participants about the achieved results of trade and economic cooperation following the results of the past 2023, about the events planned in 2024, urging businessmen to explore and develop promising areas for the implementation of joint projects.
In addition, issues of strengthening cooperation at the regional level of the two countries were discussed.
For their part, the Head of the province and representatives of the business community noted the high potential of cooperation with Kazakhstan and supported the proposal of H.E. Mr. Y.Kistafin to organize a business trip to Kazakhstan in 2024.
The Ambassador also visited the Central Park Medical College, Lahore and the Central Park Teaching Hospital, familiarizing himself with the activities of the institutions.
During the meeting with the management of the educational institution and the hospital, the Ambassador spoke about the opportunities available for the development of cooperation, including student exchange programs.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the organization of online negotiations between medical educational institutions of the two countries.
Further, H.E. Mr. Y.Kistafin held a meeting with the management of a large transport and logistics company in Pakistan – Faisal Movers.
Both sides noted the growth of business activity between entrepreneurs of the two countries, emphasizing in this context the importance of developing high-quality transport and logistics services.
An agreement has been reached on the organization of a visit by the management of Faisal Movers to Kazakhstan.
