WNAM REPORT: President of the Islamabad Tyres Association (ITA), Riaz Khan, stated that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for commercial vessels is a historic diplomatic achievement for Pakistan. He said that this development will not only reduce tensions in the region but will also have positive impacts on global trade.

He added that the wise strategy and effective diplomacy of Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir made this important milestone possible, which is a matter of pride for the entire nation.

Riaz Khan further said that Pakistan, as a responsible state, has always promoted peace, stability, and dialogue, and this recent success is a continuation of that policy. He noted that the restoration of the Strait of Hormuz will improve oil transportation and the global supply chain, which will have positive effects on economies worldwide, including Pakistan.
