WNAM REPORT: Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex became the sole representative from Central Asia in the Minor Metals Trade Association (MMTA).

Founded in 1973, the association is now one of the largest professional platforms for critical raw materials and high-tech metals. It comprises the world’s leading companies.

Currently, the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex is implementing more than 70 promising projects. The plant’s membership in a reputable international association opens new opportunities for integration into global markets, the development of strategic partnerships with international investors, and the accelerated introduction of advanced technologies.

According to experts, the development of the critical minerals market depends not only on the availability of natural resources but also on the maturity of processing technologies, production capabilities, and the sustainability of supply chains. In this context, the participation of Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex in MMTA plays a key role in supporting the national strategy to transition from exporting raw materials to producing high-value-added products.

In addition, for Uzbekistan, this means expanding the geographic scope of exports, transferring new technologies, increasing the confidence of international investors, and strengthening global positions in the field of critically important minerals.
