Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Reviews BISP Performance, Hails Digital Payments and Skill Initiatives

ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid at Zardari House on Thursday  for a briefing on the programme’s performance and ongoing initiatives. Senator Khalid presented updates on BISP operations and outlined the newly launched Digital Payment System for women beneficiaries. She said the system is designed to make financial assistance more transparent, efficient, and convenient. She also highlighted the Benazir Hunarmand Programme, which provides vocational training to help deserving women and their families gain marketable skills and achieve economic independence. The briefing covered steps being taken to expand the programme’s outreach and improve access to facilities and support services for more families. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari commended BISP’s performance and described the welfare and uplift initiatives as significant and commendable.
