Israel has been modernising its Air Force with the latest state of the art fighter planes and spending a big amount on its defence services. On the contrary the rulers of Muslim Arab countries of the middle east have been buying costly islands in Europe and indulging in gambling and squandering millions of pounds in London’s casinos every night. All the costliest property of London today is in their possession. Unless the rulers of Arab countries get their prior right it will be naive to think that they will ever be in a position to hold the candle to Tel Aviv which has been imparting military training to its civilian population also and is in a position to launch 72000 fully trained civilans also in the battlefield within 24 hours to assist Israel’s regular army in any warfare.
POST SCRIPT
In view of the fact that India continues to indulge in its anti Pakistan policies those who move in the corridors of power in Islamabad should never ever even think of slashing country’s defence budget. They should not be taken in by the propaganda that too much is being spent on the armed forces . The PAF for instance has proved its worth by its superb performance both in the Aeronautical engineering and air combat . More money needs to be spent on its development and engineering departments so that its momentum does not slow down due to paucity of funds. The performance of the army and navy too have been excellent and non availability of funds needed for their further development shouldn’t come in their road to progress.
