(WNAM Monitoring): Talks with the leadership of the leading investment companies of the Sultanate of Oman took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Muscat.
At the meeting, the Director of Oman-China Investment LLC, Yuhang Su, noted that he finds the conditions created in Uzbekistan for investors attractive and will increase investment activities in Uzbekistan.
Yuhang Su has already invested $2 million in the production of SIM cards used for phones in Fergana region, and now plans to build an international-level school here. The Head of the Omani company also announced the readiness to implement an investment project worth $5 million to produce laptops.
At the meeting with the General Manager of Atyab International Services Mohib Ahmed, the entrepreneur urged his colleagues from the Sultanate of Oman to follow his example and actively invest in Uzbekistan and emphasized that the company had established a laboratory in Tashkent region to provide appropriate certificates for food exports. As part of the investment project, $2 million worth of equipment was purchased from abroad.
Both entrepreneurs were invited to Tashkent International Investment Forum, to be held on May 2-3.
