WNAM REPORT: The Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov is taking part in the International Space Summit in Paris as part of the government delegation.
The participants are considering issues related to space technologies, innovations, scientific and technological development, and international cooperation.
During the visit, Bobur Khodjaev, Head of the Department for Financial Technologies, Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence at the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, and Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Digital Technologies, met with Julie Huguet, Director of the French Tech Mission.The parties discussed strengthening technological and startup cooperation between the two countries, opportunities for French startups entering Uzbekistan’s market, and the promotion of Uzbek startups in the French and European markets.
The sides also discussed the potential to use IT Park programs – Soft Landing and Startup Exchange – to attract French startups to the local market.
Furthermore, La French Tech representatives were invited to join ICT Week Uzbekistan.
