WNAM REPORT: Yerevan hosted political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.
The Uzbekistan delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bobur Usmanov, while the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakan Safaryan led the Armenian delegation.
The parties discussed the current status and future opportunities for cooperation in political, trade, economic, and cultural and humanitarian sectors. They focused on implementing agreements made during contacts at various levels.
The sides reaffirmed their commitment to developing the legal framework of bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation on international platforms.
They also considered developing partnership in industrial cooperation, transportation and logistics, agriculture, digital technologies, tourism, and education.
Following the consultations, the parties agreed to maintain close coordination to strengthen practical cooperation across a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda.
