WNAM MONITORING: Ashgabat is preparing to host the International Conference “Main Directions and Potential for Tourism Development in Turkmenistan”, writes the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
Within the framework of the upcoming conference, meetings, a scientific and practical forum and a ceremony for signing documents on cooperation between tourism structures are planned.
The participation of managers and representatives of relevant international organizations, as well as leading tour operators from different countries is expected.
Delegates will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the tourism potential of Turkmenistan.
The forum, scheduled for March 27-28 this year, will be an important event in the implementation of the Program for the Development of International Cooperation of Turkmenistan in the Tourism Industry for 2024-2025, developed on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
According to the Concept of the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan for 2022–2028, the country, under the leadership of the head of state, takes an active position in strengthening regional and global cooperation. The development of international tourism is one of the key aspects of the integration of Turkmenistan into the global economic and cultural space.
