WNAM REPORT: A delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs visited Kashkadarya region. It was accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China F. Arziyev.
The delegation included representatives of 32 companies engaged in the mining, geological, construction, chemical, electrical, and energy industries, textile and furniture industries, e-commerce, trade and logistics, digitalization, and programming.
The guests were introduced to the activities of local industrial enterprises. A B2B meeting was held.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China F. Arziyev noted the development of relations between Uzbekistan and China based on strategic partnership. Particular emphasis was placed on expanding bilateral investment, trade, and cultural ties.
Representatives of Chinese business circles noted their readiness to actively participate in the development of new joint projects. A proposal was made to organize a permanent dialogue between entrepreneurs from the regions.
The business forum featured presentations on the region’s capabilities, investment potential, available resources, and opportunities to use them. Participants agreed on 46 investment agreements worth $279 million.
Chinese entrepreneurs were informed about the available opportunities. An agreement was reached to establish the production of sewing and knitwear products and equipment for the mining industry, develop digitalization and programming processes, trade, and logistics in the future.
The Chinese business delegation was introduced to the activities of the textile enterprises LT Textile International, Sultan Textile Group, and the leather and footwear production Uzshoes.
The delegation also visited the special economic zone “Chiroqchi”, located near the international airport of the city of Karshi and got acquainted with the presentation of its capabilities.
