Uzbekistan Makes History at the UNECE Regional Forum

WNAM REPORT: Uzbekistan co-chaired the Regional Forum on Sustainable Development of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), a historic first for the country.As co-chair, Deputy Minister Umid Abidhadjaev (Uzbekistan) had the opportunity to lead critical discussions on sustainable development, bringing regional perspectives to a global stage. This milestone marks the country’s increasing involvement in international cooperation and its dedication to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).It was noted that Uzbekistan remains dedicated to fostering dialogue and action for a more sustainable future.
