Baku( WNAM MONITORING): Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) met Wednesday with a delegation led by Ditmir Bushati, Head of the Election Observation Mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), who is visiting Azerbaijan to monitor the snap parliamentary elections in the country.
Ditmir Bushati inquired about the election process.
The CEC Chairman underscored that this would be the first time the parliamentary elections would be conducted across the entire Azerbaijani territory, highlighting the commission’s activities and preparations for the upcoming elections.
The meeting also saw discussions on other issues of mutual interest with respect to the elections.
