Salute to PAF

It was this very month back in 1965 when the PAF outclassed IAF which was six time bigger than it in every department,  whether it was aeronautical engineering, air defence or GDP during the Indo Pak war of 1965.

PAF was lucky enough that in its initial formative years it was blessed with Air Chiefs like Air Marshal Asghar Khan and Air Marshal Nur Khan who were not only professionally very sound and competent but believed in merit and merit only.

It was their effort that our Air Force was built on a very strong foundations. The same two officers were later on instrumental in building the national carrier PIA too when it was entrusted to them as chairmen PIA after their retirement from the Air Force.

They were responsible for building PAF Academy Risalpur also which has been producing very competent Pilots, Aeronautical Engineers and Air Defence personnel every year since 1948.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                vbv
