WNAM REPORT: The Uzbekistan Culture Days opening ceremony took place in the Maqom Center of Ashgabat. First Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Bahodir Akhmedov once again recalled that friendly relations between fraternal peoples have deep historical roots.
As noted, the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples, being close friends, good neighbors, and strategic partners, set common goals for themselves. Relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect and trust.
As part of the Uzbekistan Culture Days, Turkmenistan hosts a gala concert with the participation of Uzbek art masters, an exhibition of applied art, and a creative meeting of writers and poets of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan on “Magtymguly Fragi and his contribution to the development of world literature”.A cultural event will be held in Tashkent Park in Ashgabat, including a national costumes show, an exhibition of applied art, and a gala concert.
